Bringing awareness to our eating experiences provides us with information on what is going on and then we can use that information to decide what we want to do moving forward.

Mindful Eating

Nourishing the body with healthy nutrition begins with being mindful about why, how, what and when you are eating.

The more you can notice about your eating experience, the more meaningful it will become to you.

Think about the last meal or snack you ate. We’re going to do a mindful eating exercise.

Question 5 - How and Where did you eat it? Did you eat slow or fast? Were you distracted by a TV, phone or newspaper? Were you sitting, standing or driving? Were you alone or with others?

Question 6 - Was eating the meal / snack a pleasant or unpleasant experience? Did you really notice what you were eating at all?
